Afincado Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Terrazas de los Andes

Among the lower lying of the Terrazas vineyards, yet still at a 980m above sea level, the sunny yet cool climes of the Perdriel vineyard produce a Cabernet Sauvignon of astonishing ripeness and intensity, coupled with a delicacy of texture. Smoothed by 18 months39 maturation in French oak, the wine is dense and tightly knit, with aromas of tobacco leaf and clove. Has great ageing potential, yet is enjoyable now.
